The Kalaari Lounge at TiE Global Summit 2024 was a hub of energy, insights, and collaboration, bringing together founders, investors, and ecosystem enablers to celebrate and advance India’s startup landscape. Over two action-packed days—December 10th and 11th—Kalaari Capital hosted engaging discussions, networking sessions, and ecosystem meetups, reinforcing its commitment to empowering founders and fostering innovation.

The theme of the Kalaari Lounge was deeply rooted in Bangalore, the heart of India’s startup ecosystem. As the hub of some of India’s most iconic startups, Bangalore’s impact on the global tech growth is undeniable. The Lounge paid homage to this legacy through the mural wall—created to pay tribute to Bangalore’s innovation and ecosystem. The mural wall depicted:

1. Bangalore’s landmarks and famous street food, capturing the city’s cultural essence.
2. Legendary startups that paved the way for Bangalore’s rise as India’s startup capital.
3. Kalaari portfolio companies shaping the future from Bangalore.
4. Caricatures of India’s top founders, including fun illustrations of some of the OG Indian startup pioneers.

Key Moments at the Lounge

– Founders from Kalaari’s portfolio, including ByteXL, Figr, Resilience, Samosa Party, Deconstruct, HerKey, Equilibrium, Hyperbots, LXME, Tring, CashKaro, Red.Health, Credit Dharma, and many more, engaged with the Kalaari team.

– The CXXO No Ceiling Summit 2024 sparked powerful conversations on women’s entrepreneurship, celebrating female founders and leaders under the theme “Audacity to Dream.” The event featured insightful masterclasses by Diksha Pande, Neha Bagaria, Ridhi Kanoria Doongursee, and Swati Bhargava, along with inspiring fireside chats by Geetika Mehta (Nivea India), Jo Aggarwal (Wysa), Taniya Biswas (Suta), Geetha Manjunath (Niramai Health Analytix), Nandita Sinha (Myntra), and Neha Singh (Tracxn), leaving the audience motivated and energized.

– We launched the ‘CXXO – State of Female Entrepreneurship in India’ report, which offers a deep dive into the evolving landscape of women-led ventures. The report highlights progress, addresses persistent challenges, and shares actionable insights to drive meaningful change.
