Simran is a Fellow at Kalaari Capital. Before Kalaari, Simran had a stint at Invest India, National Investment Promotion Agency, where she was a part of the ‘Make in India’ vertical. Commencing her professional career at Ernst & Young, Simran actively contributed to the Business Tax Advisory practice, marking the onset of her professional journey.
Simran holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Jai Hind College, Mumbai, where she also earned a post-graduate degree. Alongside her academic pursuits, she completed all three levels of the CFA exam.
Outside of work, Simran enjoys boxing workouts, binge-watching TV shows, and playing around with recipes. She enjoys watching cricket and can always be seen rooting for Team India.
